About Our Trip Tab
Our Trip Tab helps households agree on a fair share of a group vacation. It combines lodging, nights stayed, adult and child shares, and the extras that only some people joined.
How it works
- Enter your total lodging cost and household sizes.
- Choose a splitting method your group agrees on.
- Add groceries, activities and other shared expenses.
- Save a private trip with optional ChatGPT sign-in.
- Create household contribution requests and prepare a text or email.
Payments stay with your payment provider
Our Trip Tab does not hold money, process payments, or automatically verify transfers. Organizers supply their payment links and confirm receipt after checking their payment app.
Using and sharing your information
Guest plans are stored in your browser. Saved account trips are stored on the server and accessible through your signed-in account. A shared trip snapshot can be read by anyone with its link; household contact fields are excluded from newly generated snapshot links. A household payment-request link can be viewed without an account and shows that household’s requested costs and the recipient’s payment options.
Our Trip Tab is operated by Sims. Its purpose is simple: fewer spreadsheets and clearer conversations about vacation costs.
